Purnima is a semi-finalist of the Redress Design Award 2021. She holds a Advanced Diploma in Fashion Design from JD Institute of Fashion Technology, India. She is the co-founder of IFYOUSLOW.

redress Design Award Collection

Purnima’s Redress Design Award collection, ‘A thing of beauty is a joy forever’ is inspired by John Keats’ poem, Endymion. The collection features form-free, modular elements, with the aim for loved ones to share both the act of wearing clothes along with the intimacy of dressing through the positioning of back fastenings. The collection upcycles undyed pre-consumer textile waste, with cut and sew waste reintroduced to the garment via embellishments.
