Cal Carver is a semi-finalist of the Redress Design Award 2022. He has taken a Fashion Folio course and is working towards a BA in Fashion - Menswear at Central Saint Martins.

redress Design Award Collection

Cal’s Redress Design Award collection, ‘Thinking about Someday’, looks at ‘what becomes of what remains’ and salvages that into new and contemporary garments. Using monofibre deadstock and upcycled bedding for recyclability, Cal reflects traditional garment construction by working block patterns such as a tailored jacket back into new silhouettes. Cal emphasises creating a wardrobe of lasting pieces with timeless fabrics, seasonally non-specific styles, and voluminous garments that can fit many different body shapes.
