Laura Borrmeister is a semi-finalist of the Redress Design Award 2022. She holds a BDes (Hons) in Fashion Design from Massey University.

redress Design Award Collection

Laura’s Redress Design Award collection, ‘Let Me Be Me’, revolves around making space in business casual wear for femininity and every woman’s shape, with elements like detachable pockets and straps to adapt the size and fit of each garment for changing bodies and different occasions. Her collection upcycles secondhand, old textiles sourced from curtains and swatches, primarily of cotton, with longevity and recyclability in mind.
