Pachari Santichadsak is a Rising Talent of the Redress Design Award 2023. She is studying for her BFA in Fashion Design from Bangkok University, Thailand.

For the Redress Design Award, Pachari’s collection concept, ‘White Cap’, seeks to upcycle the waste generated by the fishing industry, where her family works. Pachari envisions streetwear from recycled and durable materials, including a used fishnet woven with cotton thread. She would dissolve and mould the waste using a sheet press machine from the Precious Plastic Bangkok Foundation, creating recyclable buttons and hooks.
