Ryan Jackson is a semi-finalist of the Redress Design Award 2020. He is currently studying Fashion Design at the Design Academy of Fashion, South Africa.

redress Design Award Collection

For his Redress Design Award collection, Sustainability Through Longevity, Ryan is inspired by outdoor brands such as Patagonia, who are taking responsibility for the end of life of the items they sell. Ryan uses up-cycling on hard-wearing, durable materials such as yacht sails to create well-made classic items that will last a long time and can be recycled or reused at their end of life.
