Bio

I am a freelance designer and have been involved in wedding gown design, sweater design, and accessories brand design. Currently, I am also studying for a part-time degree program in Fashion and Textile Studies at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. I like arts and crafts, especially leather craft and fabric design. I particularly love the effect of design that comes from combining different fabrics and techniques.

This collection is inspired by nature; by plants, soil texture, trees and land as well as the curve of the river and the amazing colours of the four seasons. I hope that through this collection I can bring out a very simple theme but one that is often forgotten by people in the city-the beauty of nature. - Yuri Man

ECOCHIC DESIGN AWARD COLLECTION

This collection is inspired by nature; by plants, soil texture, trees and land as well as the curve of the river and the amazing colours of the four seasons.

In the casual wear designs, I have adopted a lot of bright colors to express the colors of nature. Through the use of soft and light fabrics. I have created drapes and natural lines to match the theme. The design is simple and includes single items full of hand woven and different fabric details. These single items can be mixed and matched into different outfits. They can also be easily mixed with your own wardrobe to create other styles.

The top of the evening wear outfit uses the sleeves of shirts to reconstruct a floral pattern and the body of the dress is reconstructed from knitwear of different bright colors.

I hope that through this collection I can bring out a very simple theme but one that is often forgotten by people in the city - the beauty of nature.
