Through my work I want to change people’s thinking and habits towards consumption, to improve people’s relationships with their products, thus lowering consumerism and minimising waste. - Marta Dolska
Redress Design Award Collection
For her Redress Design Award application (formerly the EcoChic Design Award), Marta applied the up-cycling and reconstruction techniques to secondhand textiles and men’s shirts. She played with the masculine and feminine forms, and was inspired by Asian and ephemeral aesthetics and the organic forms of primroses which exude romanticism and accidental perfectionism.
