Discover the power that designers have to transform waste!

From 1 to 10 October, the work of 10 stunning Redress Design Award 2021 finalist designers who applied a wide range of sustainable and circular design approaches to tackle and transform industry waste will be displayed at K11 MUSEA. The designs follow the core ethos of sustainable design and are proudly zero-waste, upcycled and/or reconstructed showcasing the potential to minimise waste in fashion. These emerging designers give second life to a variety of waste from end-of-rolls or samples, and consumer waste, like suits and uniforms; through to more unusual waste streams like damaged camping equipment and old sailing flags.

The Redress Design Award is the world’s largest sustainable fashion design competition. Organised by NGO Redress and with CreateHK as the lead sponsor, the competition educates emerging designers around the world and promotes sustainable design theories and techniques to help foster a circular fashion economy. The competition creates a unique platform for passionate, talented game-changers to transform the global fashion industry and rewards the best with career-changing prizes to maximise long-term impact. Thanks to UPS’ carbon neutral shipping service, we are able to be inspired by the stunning work of ten finalists up close in person.

Come discover these incredible, one-of-a-kind designs up close at our exhibition.
