Redress Design Award 2023 Semi-Finalists Announced — Join the Judging Process and Vote for Your Favourite Designer

People’s Choice Award winner guaranteed a spot in the 2023 Grand Final Fashion Show

The Redress Design Award 2023 Semi-finalists are ready to be revealed! This year, we received applications from 46 countries and regions. Now the 30 hopeful designers, among the world’s best emerging talents at tackling fashion’s growing waste crisis, are waiting in the wings for you to cast your votes for the ‘People’s Choice Award’.

The competition invites emerging designers to address a critical challenge of the fashion industry: how to create value from waste and design our way to a more sustainable, circular future for fashion. Explore the Semi-finalist profiles and you will see an exciting range of aesthetics, all infused with skill, creativity, and innovation, tackling unique waste streams from electronic waste to sofa upholstery and umbrellas.

Now it’s YOUR turn to have your say on which designer can best influence the future of the fashion industry. Consumer participation like yours is critical in driving sustainability in fashion.

The designer with the most votes secures a spot as one of 10 Redress Design Award 2023 Finalists who will join an expenses-paid educational trip to Hong Kong in September to showcase their collection at the Grand Final Fashion Show. All applicants have their eyes on the main prize: a design collaboration opportunity with Timberland.

Voting is open from now through 5 May 2023.
