Congratulations to Redress for successfully organising the Redress Design Award 2023. The Redress Design Award, as the world’s largest circular fashion design competitions, aims to raise the awareness towards a circular fashion system through educating and empowering designers and consumers.
Starting from a competition for emerging designers in Hong Kong in 2011, it has gone beyond simply a competition and today offers a range of dynamic educational programmes. Global participants can understand the new circular economy and capitalise on its immense potential.
As the lead sponsor of the project, Create Hong Kong(CreateHK) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region is delighted to witness the sustained growth of the Redress Design Award over the years.
The 14th Five-Year Plan has stated its clear support towards Hong Kong developing into an East-meets-West centre for international cultural exchange. The Government is pleased to support the Redress Design Award, which plays a pivotal role in bringing design elites from around the globe to gather and conduct exchanges through mentorships by industry experts, project pitching and other educational activities, providing a unique platform that serves passionate and talented fashion game-changers to transform the global fashion industry, showcasing the uniqueness of designs and innovations to the world and fostering the development of the design industry.
