Shenzhen Fashion Week SS23 features Redress Design Award alumni in a first - Schedule Updated

As part of Shenzhen Fashion Week SS23, Redress is presenting eight emerging sustainable brands from our Redress Design Award alumni at various events from 27 October–2 November. It is the first time Redress will be showcasing in Shenzhen, thanks to a partnership with the Shenzhen Garment Industry Association (SGIA).

Our alumni are at the forefront of a new breed of fashion designers prioritising sustainability and circularity as much as desirability. With Shenzhen Fashion Week focusing on carbon neutral consumption, the events fit right in with the work of Redress alumni, whose latest collections are currently en route to Shenzhen, China with carbon neutral shipping from UPS. The selected alumni are representing regions from around the world as well as some closer to home, with two brands from Mainland China and two from Hong Kong.

Each of the alumni will have five of their outfits shown in the fashion show and exhibition at Shenzhen Fashion Week. There will also be a forum on sustainable carbon consumption taking place both in-person at Sparkland and online.
