Bio

He Mengmeng is a semi-finalist of the Redress Design Award 2019. She holds an MA in Textile & Fashion Design from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. She is currently developing her own brand, MMH Moe.

redress Design Award Collection

Mengmeng takes inspiration from the wide variety of diversity and colour found in nature for her Redress Design Award 2019 collection ‘Reborn’. She applies the design techniques of zero-waste, up-cycling and reconstruction to a wide variety of waste including sampling yardage, textile swatches, scraps and unsold clothing to create a collection that reflects back the colours and silhouettes of nature in all its glory.
