Kévin Germanier exhibiting at the Centre Pompidou in Paris

Kévin Germanier is featured as part of an exhibit at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, France from 24 January to 22 April 2024. The exhibition, ‘Transversing Appearances: when fashion enters Musée National d'Art Moderne’, celebrates the powerful links that have united fashion and artistic creation, fashion designers and artists, since the early 20th century.

Kévin’s piece ‘Alien brodé’ is recycled and redesigned from three of his SS22 pieces, all of which were upcycled from plastic beads found in Hong Kong. It is showcasing alongside 16 other pieces from prominent designers around the world including Christian Dior, Azzedine Alaïa, Jean Paul Gaultier, Issey Miyake, Martin Margiela, Marine Serre, and more.

Jesse Lee showcased with Maison&Objet Design Fair in Paris with PMQ

Jesse Lee showcased a selection of his works at the Maison&Objet Design Fair in Paris, one of the world’s biggest innovative lifestyle design fairs. Organised by PMQ as part of the Hong Kong Delegate Showcase, the exhibition, ‘Creative Mosaic’, took place 18–22 January 2024.

The exhibition spotlighted 13 works that acknowledge the historical context and celebrate the heritage and interdependent communities in the creative industries of Hong Kong. The showcase also aimed at fostering international partnership and collaboration among designers.

Zerobarracento’s collaboration with Trama Plaza exhibited in Milan

Camilla Carrara’s zero-waste fashion brand, Zerobarracento, was featured in Trama Plaza’s most recent exhibition ‘Alla moda dal 1948’ (‘Fashionable since 1948’). The exhibition highlighted rights of workers in the Italian textile, garment, and leather manufacturing industry.

Curated by Erica Brunetti, president of Trama Plaza in Milan, the exhibition highlighted the best practices of seven Italian companies that adopt virtuous ethics toward their workers. For the showcase, Camilla was asked to reinvent company uniforms through an artistic sartorial upcycling process, giving voice to workers' rights through different perspectives.
